Curtis has been designing/developing websites since 1996. He is author of the popular ebook, Creating Intuitive Web Sites (1999, www.creatingintuitivewebsites.com) and has been recognized by USA Today (“Hot Site” award), Southwestern Bell (“Yours Drools” design award) and MonadNet (Blue Ribbon) for web design/development excellence.

Through Curtis’ 15 years experience, he has built and successfully project-managed various engaging Internet communities on the web and high-performing e-commerce sites. He drove valuable traffic to websites, increasing online publication readership/community participation and goals/conversions.

Curtis has the skills/background to create sites from scratch or redesign/enhance existing sites while writing functional specifications (technical and business requirements), creating site maps and wireframes, using Photoshop to create concept drawings and rapid-prototyping with a CMS (creating a basic look and feel at the early stages for functional review and then fine-tuning CSS, integrating modules, etc. after approval).

His diverse skillset/experience involves web design, standards-compliant web development (W3C, etc.), technical writing/documentation, Internet marketing (to include SEO/SEM, email marketing, social media/networking, etc.), desktop publishing/traditional graphic design and writing marketing and editorial copy for web and print mediums. He also has a unique ability to review website metrics (i.e. in Google Analytics, WebTrends, etc.) and plan/execute effective strategy from this data and other sources such as survey results, etc.

Curtis holds a self-designed BS in Web Management and Internet Commerce and an English minor from Plymouth State University. He lives in Milford, New Hampshire.
